I was rewatching the “What’s Up, Danger?” clip from Spiderverse on YouTube and came across this comment. For some reason it REALLY spoke to me - hit me hard. Like. Damn. It really emphasizes how real this scene is. Miles is just learning his powers, he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing. He’s terrified, yet… He’s really taking a leap of faith to save all he knows and keep a promise. I love it. It just makes this scene even more amazing to me, makes me appreciate it so much more. Because he’s not just a superhero who learned how to be awesome and badass overnight. He’s a kid who’s terrified, so terrified he can’t even control his own powers, but musters up the strength to jump off a fucking skyscraper.
came across a far side book while thrift shopping and opened it to a random page only to be reminded that gary larsen is the still the funniest comic artist ever to be published
I didn’t see the pie on his face at first and I thought it meant he wasn’t the clear winner because of the emotional tax of killing a clown
there should be a tax that youtubers pay where 1.5% of all of their revenue goes back to Kevin Macleod for basically supplying YouTube with it’s own soundtrack.
who is this man and what music did he make???
if you hear a royalty free song on youtube, there’s approximately an 80% chance Kevin Macleod wrote it.
here’s some you’ve almost definitely heard:
for those wondering, yes, he also made THE generic royalty free song that was EVERYWHERE in 2014.
also, his site incompetech.com also has graph paper generators, if you’re in need of that. It has any kind of graph paper - INCLUDING hex paper, you tabletop gamers out there! (or knitting paper if you’re into that)
